- YOGA, SAND, SEA, & FUN!
Tulum, Mexico
March 30 - April 5, 2017
Join sisters and co-founders of Health Yoga Life, Vyda and Aida Bielkus, and yoga teacher Cathy Lorberbaum for an amazing yoga retreat.
Through empowering yoga and meditation practices, beach walks, and healthy eating your body and life will be uplifted. Breath will be freed, body strengthened, and mind awakened. We guarantee you will go home lighter, happier, less stressed and ready to make better daily choices that support your true nature. Join us and be transformed by the journey.
A retreat like this is your chance to unplug and recharge, be uplifted in spirit, and shed old ways that no longer serve you. Get ready to dramatically shift your relationship to your body, mind, spirit and health!
A retreat is not your typical vacation.
People never come back from a retreat, saying
they “need a vacation from their vacation”

A retreat is a journey that gives back to you long after your leave the resort. It is an opportunity to be really good to yourself and to dissolve the barriers you have for leading a more empowered and healthy life. Amansala Resort is the perfect back drop for this type of getaway. An eco-chic hotel located on one of the world’s most beautiful beaches, the resort was specifically chosen for its superb location, ease of travel, accommodating staff, and the peaceful and tranquil vibe.
JUST IMAGINE...
Waking up to the sound of the waves and the sun shining, walking along the miles of white powdery sandy shore, practicing yoga twice a day, learning new strategies for healthy living, finding the perfect beach hammock to take a nap, eating delicious healthy prepared foods, swimming in the Caribbean Sea and enjoying the company of like-minded people.
In addition to our fantastic program, during the week you will also have the option and time to enjoy some local healing traditions like Mayan Clay Treatments, specialized healers and massage therapists and explore the rich history Tulum has in Mayan culture. If you choose you can take a quick excursion by bike to the Tulum ruins or check out a local freshwater cenote!
“The cure for anything is salt water: sweat, tears or the sea.” – Isak Dinesen
Our retreat will cure what ails you in mind, body, spirit. Stress will ease. Breath will be freed. Life will open up! The program facilitators for the week will lead you with care and inspiration.
Our staff is extremely qualified to care for you during the week. The presenters and creators of the program have worked extensively in the field of human development, yoga, and coaching. See retreat leader bios below.

has been a yoga instructor in the DC area for more than ten years. She loves what yoga focuses on: the infinite possibilities for self-transformation, physical and spiritual strength, and appreciation for life. Cathy identifies her approach as one of exploration, a search for inner-balance, and being in touch with one’s body.
She feels yoga can release the tension that can accumulate in the body and mind due to the realities of living in today’s fast-paced world. Her own practice has helped her to be more resilient and flow with the challenges of life.
